Creativity

Creativity is our god given ability to create.
We are creators, and the world is our creation.

The present times our ability to create is more important than ever before.
Our creativity is supported by an atmosphere of joy, acceptance and love.
Fear and pressure are the natural enemies of creativity.
Children expressing their creativity learn better and deeper.
They are happier, more self-confident and caring for others as well.
As adults they are more successful.
Creativity Progress Exhibition August 2016

Creativity enjoys a special importance at the Shanti Ananda Nature Concept School as it is a basic key for nearly all the skills in human life. As natural creators we create continuously - consciously or unconsciously. Our aim is to create the life we want to live in a most conscious way.
The children learn with head, heart and hands. In the child centred teaching play way methods are used. Painting, handicrafts, games, computer works, drama, music and dance as well as classical Indian techniques like yoga, meditation and bhajana singing are taught. We conduct a Creativity Progress Meeting for the teachers to share their experiences every two months. At the same day the results of the creativity periods are exhibited in the Creativity Progress Exhibition.

Horst Wagner composed the Song "Shanti Ananda spreads the wings" in 2007 and taught it to the teachers in a music workshop. The song is written from the sight of a teacher towards the students; it is an expression of our pedagogical approach.

Shanti Ananda Spreads the Wings

There is a power in my hand;
O God let me lead them to their OWN way.
There is a power in my hand,
O God - give me love from your heart.

You are my teacher for the day,
Please remember me my childhood.
You are my teacher for the day;
Guide me to understand your life.

We will sit together for that day
and try to be in silence.
We will sit together for that day
and try to be in love.

Tell me what you want to know,
I will help your understanding.
Tell me what you want to know,
There will a way for you.

Shanti Ananda spreads the wings
to the people of the village.
Shanti Ananda spreads the wings,
We will be a model nearby you.
