Morning assembly in front of the administration building
We offer a free education basing on Human Values with an integration of normal subjects (English, Telugu, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social), a creativity program and Indian cultural techniques. Furthermore sports and Karate are taught.
The school day starts at 8.45 am with cleaning the school area by all the students. Afterwards students and teachers gather in the entrance area of the administration building. The Indian National Anthem is sung; and a pledge is recited: „India is my country; all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country, and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country and my people I pledge my devotion. In their well-being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.” Drill is exercised – very much beloved by the students; the saying of the day is given to all students by one teacher.
Meditation is practised by all the classes; we offer different types of meditation to the students. Four periods in the morning (led by one teacher only) and two periods in the afternoon as well as a creativity block of one and half hours complete the school day. At 4.30 pm the children go home.
In the months of March and April a special summer timetable is valid for all schools in Andhra Pradesh. We start at 7.30 am, and school will be finished at 12.30 pm already. This change of the timetable is necessary because of the heat; temperatures reach 48 degrees in this area sometimes ...
